Pilate therefore said to Him, "Are You a king then?" Jesus answered, "You say rightly that I am a king. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice." Pilate said to Him, "What is truth?" And when he had said this, he went out again to the Jews, and said to them, "I find no fault in Him at all. (John 18:37-38)

Pilate's offical residence where the Lord Jesus christ was put on a trial. The Antonius Fortress where Jesus Christ had been put on a trial by Pilate Pontius, at present, became an Arabian school named el omariya school. The place where the Lord Jesus Christ stumbled for the first time, unable to bear the weight of the cross. The 3rd station is the Armenian Orthodox Church. There is a relief of the Lord Jesus Christ who can't endure the weight of the cross and stumbles above the door at the entrance.The 3rd station faces one of the main street ofJerusalem city continuing to Damascus gate.

And He, bearing His cross, went out to a place called the Place of a Skull, which is called in Hebrew, Golgotha, (John 19:17)

Mary's church where the Virgin Mary saw the Lord Jesus Christ carrying the cross on His shoulder.The Mary's church of the 4th station is beside the Armenian Orthodox Church of the 3rd station. The court in the Mary's church, and a glimpse of cathedral built of blicks.

Now as they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name. Him they compelled to bear His cross.　(Matthew 27:32)

The place where Simon was made to carry the cross on his shoulder instead of the Lord Jesus Christ. The 5th station is located at the corner where Al-Wad street going through the rampart of the Jerusalem Old City from the north to the south, crosses the stone-paved slope road to the hill in Golgothain which Church of Holy Sepulcher is built. The sign of VIA DOLOROSA is disprayed beside the 5th station. The passing people take their pictures in memory putting their hands on the trace, where it is said that the Lord Jesus Christ places His hand on.
